Selection of a patient for this type of operation is made very cautiously. In spite of that, according to long-term international statistics, sometimes the implant is not accepted by the jawbone (approx. in 6% of cases). Perfect behaviour of an implant in the mouth is in great extent positively influenced by the patient’s care of oral hygiene. Even in case of possible release of an implant, it is usually possible to apply classical treatment in ordinary dental consulting room.
